There is a belief, desire really, that once we discover the reason we are here on Earth, everything automatically falls into place and becomes easier. Like the most difficult part of our journey is figuring out where we are going, not actually climbing the mountain and crossing the creeks to get to our destination.

Truth is, we were born knowing our purpose. We were designed to do this work. It is our destiny, our incarnate responsibility to honor.

Then, life gets in the way. Society and media get in the way. Ego and fear get in the way.

We buy into the belief that we have to “search” for our true identity, our life’s purpose. We seek outside help to uncover what has been inside us all along.

We make living our purpose difficult. We make speaking our truth painful. We make following our deepest desires fearful.

And that is exactly what I have done over the past 12 months.

BEING AWAKE DOESN’T MEAN YOUR WORK IS DONE OR YOUR JOURNEY IS COMPLETE.

It’s only the first step on the path of your truest, most meaningful, most purposeful life.

It takes daily commitment to stay on track.

Daily reminders of why you are here and what you are here to do.

Daily releasing of what society has taught you is normal so you may honor your calling.

Daily surrendering of your fears so you can move through them with courage.

Daily witnessing of the power you posses and the conviction of your awakening.

Daily receiving of the wisdom and support from the Universe known as your intuition.

Daily caring for yourself, your energy, your mindset, your heart, and your community.

Daily creating a world in which following your dreams and living your purpose is the norm, what’s expected.

One year later, I still have so much work to do.

So today, I rise, again.

And tomorrow I rise.

Again and again and again.

Because that is what I am hear to do.

And so are you.
